Course Description:

This course equips nursing home staff with the knowledge and skills to provide person-centered care that honors the complexity of aging individuals. It focuses on understanding human development across the lifespan, recognizing and counteracting ageism, and applying holistic care practices that attend to residents’ biological, psychological, social, spiritual, historical, and cultural identities. The course empowers caregivers to foster dignity, autonomy, and well-being in elderhood.
