Earners of the Elder Justice and Ageism: Helping Elders Access Resources badge have the fundamental understanding of the prevalence of elder mistreatment in Virginia and the many factors that can put elders at greater risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation, including ageism. They also know how to recognize and report suspected elder mistreatment, and how to access community resources that are there to support Virginians to grow old safely.
